I can't wait for the new episode to come on tonight. However, I must say I am bothered by the opinion of some people. Alot of people try to compare the show to the book. I get that the show is based off of the book, but has anyone stopped to think that this concept may only apply to certain characters and not situations. Afterall, in the beginning of the book, the author states that she wrote this book in response to all the violence that was going on in one particular community over a period of time.
This violence has yet to made obvious in the show. I am all for certain characters being based off of the characters in the book. I enjoyed the book, but love the show slightly more. I get that the show is not an actually depiction of what goes on on a military installation. But, it does show what is kinda idea. As a spouse married to the lowest ranking, I am sure he or she would love to be best friends with the spouse of the highest ranking. It's kinda like the most popular student being besties with that geek that never comes out and stays to his or her self. Not to mention, if his or her name were spoken, everyone would be wondering who that was.
